Spirit of Tasmania (return)

by in Trip

Today is the last day in Tasmania. Because we booked in a car service, we leave Turners Beach reasonably early and make our way to Devonport. There I drop Marjo and the dogs at the Devonport foreshore and put the car into service. Then we join up and alternatively watch the dogs while the other goes shopping.

We have a healthy lunch at McDonalds (hey, they have salad on the burgers) and then pick up the bus again. All is good & shiny and we’re all happy to have our house on wheels back.

We go to the same beach side where we were the day we arrived in Tasmania. It’s on the water and has a large dog free area with trees for shade.

There we walk with Nossi.

And Nossi makes friends.

While passing the time to board we shoot some more wild flowers.

When it’s time to board we dress up for the windy sail.

And park the bus onto and in the ferry.

We have a drink outside before going to dinner and to bed.

We had a great stay in Tasmania.

(These were all the remaining wild flower shots we took in Tasmania that didn’t make it onto previous posts).
